If you could live wherever you wanted:
Where would you go?
How would you live?
This sounds like an Oprah Winfrey discussion, but it was a question that we, Pat and Rosie McVay, began exploring a few years ago while living and working in Cape Town. Although we love South Africa and its people, our intention was not to settle there permanently. After encountering people who have a much simpler life but often a more unsustainable, unhealthy and dangerous existence, we wanted to live more sustainably and in harmony with the environment, using less energy and consuming less natural resources. Green building is ‘Going Home’ to a more sustainable future. This blog is a journal and dialogue as we meet this challenge. You are invited to take the trip with us.
